This super simple way to prepare cauliflower is so delicious, we can easily eat a whole one in a sitting. My younger daughter even suggested taking it to a party and offering it as your dish to share. I wouldn’t say no!

Whole Roasted Cauliflower



  • Medium cauliflower
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt


  1. Pre-heat oven to 220C.
  2. Trim cauliflower leaves and slice base so it sits flat.
  3. Place on baking tray and drizzle with olive oil (I'm pretty generous) and sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Roast in oven till charred and soft (I don't go by time, just check after 1 hour).
  5. Serve immediately by slicing into wedges.
