This smoothie is really popular (well, with my kids anyway!) and makes an easy after school snack.

Don’t be scared of the avocado as you can’t taste it.

After School Berry Smoothie

After School Berry Smoothie

Dairy-free, low sugar, gluten-free, nut-free

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tblsp chia seeds
  • 1 tblsp rice malt syrup (opt)
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (I used cashew)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender (I use the Thermomix)
  2. Blend till smooth, scraping down bowl as needed.
  3. Serve immediately or store in freezer.
