Raw Broccoli Salad

Dairy-free, nut-free

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tahini (I like Mayvers organic hulled tahini)
  • 2 tblsp tamari (Spiral organic tamari is good)
  • 1 tblsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 1 head of broccoli, stems and florets chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • Chopped almonds and lemon juice to serve (opt)

Instructions

  1. Put tahini, tamari, lemon juice and garlic into Thermomix (or food processor) and combine well
  2. Add chopped broccoli and carrot
  3. Blitz till fine pieces
  4. Serve with chopped almonds and a squeeze of lemon juice.
