All these mofo’s have a big impact on us, and we often feel it before we’re fully aware of what’s going on.

But here’s the kicker. Once you dial in, it can be pretty challenging to know how to manage and move forward.

❌And not get stuck in that loop of feeling shit, thinking it’s all shitty and feeling more shit (which is a pretty familiar place we can find ourselves, yeah?).

Ok, so we need a place to start. Any place, just somewhere other than this shit show.

My friend, I offer you the magic that is compassionate curiousity.

Rather than beat ourselves up (or someone else) take a breath and get curious.

But not any-old-curious. It’s a kinder gentler kind of curious. The sort that doesn’t blame or shame and isn’t looking for scapegoats.

Yeah it takes practice. And it can be super helpful to have someone else asking the questions and getting you into this kind of curious (the best do it without you even noticing😉)

A lot of my coaching with clients is based on compassionate curiousity.

And I notice that over time it’s like a muscle that builds, and a shift happens – from reactive and stressed to curious and responsive.

It’s pretty awesome, I gotta be honest! Because life becomes less about struggle and more about choice.

✅I’m a big fan of compassionate curiousity and use it a lot in my work. Sometimes it hums in the background, other times we bring it forward more intentionally.

It’s like a key to the stories and beliefs that keep us stuck – people pleasing, not good enoughness, low self-worth.

Most of us know what it’s like to go in hard and beat ourselves up for who we are and what we do😵

Compassionate curiousity slows the roll and can stop the carnage👍🏻

And – here’s the thing – it can be learnt🥳
